Logan Allec, CPA
Founder and Owner
Logan Allec has been serving taxpayers as a CPA for over 14 years. After leaving his role at a "Big 4" firm, he started Choice Tax Relief to help everyday Americans who have found themselves behind on their taxes. He also educates thousands of people daily about tax relief on his YouTube channel. In addition to his CPA license, Logan also has a Master's Degree in Taxation from the University of Southern California (USC). He lives with his wife and children in the Los Angeles area. Andrea Coins, Esq.
Tax Attorney
Andrea Coins, Esq. enjoys helping taxpayers resolve and understand their tax issues. She is a licensed attorney in Florida, and has experience in probate and estate planning, foreclosures, personal injury, including auto negligence and premises liability, and family law. She lives with her husband and two children in Jacksonville, Florida and enjoys taking family trips to Disney World, attending music festivals, and spending time with her family in her free time.
Ken Deakins, CPA
Tax Manager
Ken Deakins is a graduate of Cal State Northridge with a degree in Business Administration/ Accounting. Ken has been a tax director/manager for over 25 years serving individuals and business entities with compliance and tax planning services. Ken has also been involved in marketing activities for accounting and consulting firms. Ken has been an avid outdoorsman with 100 wilderness backpacking/canoe trips. Along the way, he became a black diamond skier/snowboarder and earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has been married 34 years with a son and daughter.
Peter Salinger, EA
Ex-IRS Revenue Officer
Peter spent over 33 years with the IRS — 15 years in collection as a revenue officer and a revenue officer manager and 18 years as an appeals settlement officer. Aside from collection due process and trust fund recovery penalty cases, Peter's main inventory was rejected offers in compromise. Peter also managed an offer in compromise group at the IRS.
Leah McLaughlin, EA
IRS Enrolled Agent
Leah McLaughlin graduated from Ivy Tech State College in 2003 with an associates degree in accounting. Her first job out of college was with JK Harris & Company. She started out as a case specialist, helping clients navigate their tax issues. In 2007, she passed her EA exam and was promoted to licensed taxpayer representative, and she negotiated with the IRS to release levies, set up payment plans, request non collectible status, etc. She worked for JK Harris from 2003-2011. She worked as a licensed taxpayer representative for Nationstar Tax Advisors from 2012 to 2017. She also worked for Turbo Tax from 2017 to 2022 as a tax expert. She helps clients who called in with questions in regards to their tax returns, troubleshooting their software issues, etc. Lastly, she also worked for Tax Defense Network from 2019 to 2022. She was a freelance licensed taxpayer representative and negotiated resolutions with the IRS, and also prepared tax returns. She was also the client's main point of contact.
Lulu Peralta
Case Manager
Lulu is a tax controversy case manager with over a decade of experience. Lulu has developed a comprehensive understanding of the IRS regulations while taking advantage of loopholes to obtain optimum results. Throughout her career, she has successfully released numerous wage garnishments and bank levies. She has vast experience in installment agreements, partial pay installment agreements, currently not collectable, penalty abatement, and offer in compromise. She is passionate about providing tailored solutions that address each client’s unique situation. Her goal is to alleviate the stress a tax issue can have on my clients.
Kylie Klingman
Case Manager
Kylie Klingman graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. With over 12 years of experience in the tax relief industry, Kylie has mastered the complexities of tax relief and excelled in administration, management, customer service, and strategic planning. She has assisted numerous individuals and businesses nationwide in achieving financial freedom by resolving their overwhelming tax debts. At Choice Tax Relief, Kylie is dedicated to transforming lives through her expertise in effective tax solutions.
Danny Guerra
Tax Preparer
Danny Guerra majored in Accounting and Administration of Justice at College of the Canyons. He graduated from College of the Canyons in 2017 and received his AS degree. Danny is a licensed Tax Professional with 4 years of experience in the accounting industry specializing in business tax preparation and tax resolution. Danny enjoys going to the gym and has a passion for cars.
David Monroe
Tax Preparer
David Monroe graduated from College of the Canyons in 2019 with associate degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. In 2022, he graduated from Cal State University, Northridge with a bachelor's degree in Professional Accountancy. While at Csun, he volunteered in the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program and helped prepare taxes for low income community members. He also worked one tax season at H&R Block before starting at Choice Tax Relief. Here at Choice Tax Relief, he is hoping to jumpstart his career and he continues to learn more about different aspects of taxes. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports and playing frisbee golf, ping pong and corn hole.
Rylee Holwager
Social Media Manager
Rylee Holwager graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in communications. She has loved nothing more than telling stories and providing the people with what they need to know. Her career is only in the early stages, but she has already held titles such as marketing administrator, staff writer, social media editor, freelance UGC creator and now social media manager. Here at Choice Tax Relief she is excited to come to work every day to bridge the gap between confused taxpayers and complicated tax concepts.
Hailey Ritter

Hailey Ritter graduated from College of the Canyons in 2024 with an associate's degree in Communications. She finds joy in helping people reach their goals. She lives with her parents and sister in California. She enjoys going to concerts, the beach, and going on camping trips when she can. She is just now starting her career and wishes for a great future!
Isaiah Song
Tax Intern
Isaiah Song is an intern at Choice Tax Relief for the 2024 Summer. He is an accounting major and will be a junior at California State University, Long Beach starting this Fall 2024. In his spare time, Isaiah enjoys music and meeting up with friends. During the academic school year, Isaiah will be a Resident Assistant for CSU Long Beach.
